Voahary* means Nature in Malagasy. Voahary is a non-profit organization working in biodiversity research, education and conservation in Madagascar.
Voahary mainly works in the western and northwestern Malagasy region formerly known as Mahajanga province, and is legally registered as an association** in the city of Mahajanga.
Voahary works in close cooperation with the University of Mahajanga (Madagascar), the Anthropological Institute of the University of Zurich (Switzerland), and committed partners.
